SC Villa returns to action tomorrow Wednesday 17th February 2021 against Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso. Kigunddu, Kakomo, Wasswa and Muhindo are out of this encounter.

In the first away game of the year, SC Villa visit Wakiso Giants tomorrow. Last season a similar fixture was not played due to the COVID-19 induced premature end of the league. In a reverse fixture last season, The Jogoos came out on top in 2-0 win courtesy of Amir Kakomo and David Owori.

The Jogoos are still without a win on the road this season. We have collected one point from a possible nine.

“We come into this game very optimistic that we’ll collect our first maximum points away from home tomorrow. The team has trained well and we have carefully analysed tomorrow’s opponents in order to achieve our primary objective tomorrow,” commented Kaziba about the fixture.

The host is also yet to win at home this season

The Jogoos will be without Moses Kigunddu, Amir Kakomo and Emmanuel Alex Wasswa suspended due to accumulated yellow cards. Benson Muhindo is also out injured after limping out of the MYDA game.

“We have very good replacements for those out of this tie. Throughout the training sessions in preparation for this encounter, other members of the team have exhibited their capabilities to fit in the places of those who are not available tomorrow,” confidently commented Kaziba.

The gaffer also confirmed to the Club Website that he is ready to unleash one or both of his January signings: Sadam Masereka and Ronald Francis Olaki.
