SC Villa make the short trip to the capital on Matchday 2 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League 2026/27, where they take on the Tax Collectors, URA FC.
The Jogoos will be seeking a positive response after being held to a 1–1 draw by Kitara FC at home in their opening league fixture. With two points dropped on home soil, SC Villa will be determined to return to winning ways and get their campaign back on track.
Historically, the Jogoos have enjoyed the upper hand in this fixture. In their last five meetings, SC Villa have recorded three victories and two draws, while URA FC are yet to register a win during that run.
TEAM NEWS

SC Villa could welcome Isaac Gumperom back into the matchday squad, providing another attacking option for the Jogoos.
However, the team will be without Aslam Semakula and Najib Yiga who continue their rehabilitation programmes.
Meanwhile, two U17 players, Martin Mamer and Sausa Jonathan, are set to be added to the matchday squad as the club continues to integrate young talent into the senior setup.

With the season still in its early stages, the Jogoos will be looking to turn their strong head-to-head record into another positive result and return to Kampala with maximum points.

We have two injury concerns, so there will naturally be some changes to the lineup. We also have to comply with FUFA regulations requiring the inclusion of Under-20 players on the team sheet.
URA are a good side, and we expect a competitive and entertaining game. It’s a match we are looking forward to playing.
Head Coach – Zeljko Kavacevic

We shared the points in a 1-1 draw at home, but tonight our focus is clear — we want all three points.
The coaches have prepared the team well, and we’re ready to fight for the result.
We call upon our fans to come out in numbers, get behind the team and give us the support we need to secure victory.
