The Jogoos are back in action this Saturday as SC Villa travel to face URA FC in the opening game of the second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

SC Villa will be targeting maximum points as they look to close the gap at the top of the table, currently sitting 6th in the standings.
Since 2016, the two sides have met 16 times in the league. URA FC have won 5 of those encounters, SC Villa have won 4, while 7 matches have ended in draws—setting the stage for another competitive clash.
All eyes will be on Saturday’s showdown as the Jogoos aim to start the second round on a strong note. The camp has also received a boost with the return of Diego Semugera to full fitness, while the rest of the squad is available for selection.

Speaking to club media, head coach Zeljko Kovacevic said:
Every game in the second round is a hard game because teams want to collect maximum points in the next four months. We’ve prepared well ahead of this match. I urge all the fans to come in big numbers because with them comes the energy for us as a team.

Left back Simon Semayange added:
I believe the coaches have given us the tactics, so it’s work on the pitch now and we get the points on the road. As defenders, we look forward to keeping a clean sheet, it being the first game in the second round. The fans have always given us the energy to go forward, so we will need them in Nakivubo Stadium.
