SC Villa is pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Stuart Matovu, who joins the Jogoos’ goalkeeping department.
The 23-year-old shot-stopper arrives from Mutungo FC and brings valuable experience from both grassroots and university football. Matovu represented Butambala in the 2025 Masaza Cup season before featuring for MUBS in the University Football League, where he continues to pursue his third year of studies at Makerere University Business School.
Matovu also starred in the 2026 Ankole Cup, where he helped his side lift the championship and was named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament for his outstanding performances between the posts.
His arrival adds further depth and competition to the Jogoos’ goalkeeping department as the club continues to strengthen its squad.
